Participants were invited to create a one-page comic strip without text that depicted the concept of citizenship in the European Union. The target group of the competition were high school and university students of (graphic) arts. Participants had to be at least 16 years old with permanent residence in one of the EU Member States. Other citizens that are interested in graphic arts also had the possibility to participate. Zavod PIP was responsible for organizing the competition in Slovenia, which included promotion, communicating with the media and the target public, accepting the comic strips and organizing the jury which evaluated them, preparingof the national ceremony and accompanying the winner from Slovenia to Brussels.
