The program was designed to assist the Roma people in asserting their rights and gaining a better understanding of decision-making processes, with the aim of raising the quality of their lives and, consequently, improving their position in society. In the first phase, the Roma were offered assistance in the form of consultations and assistance in fulfilling their everyday obligations. In the second phase, users were provided with free legal aid in case their applications were rejected.
Results:
- 50 Roma participated in the program,
- a study on functional literacy among minorities in the US was made,
- results from Slovenia were compared with results from the USA
