In cooperation with the representatives of the European Commission in the Republic of Slovenia, Zavod PIP coordinated the European competition “20th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child ‘, which marked the anniversary of this important document with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Justice, Freedom and Security. With the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, the UN Member States have, for the first time, agreed on rights that must be fully respected for all children under the age of 18, in all circumstances. Primary (10-14 year olds) and high schools (15-18 year olds) were encouraged to create posters about the rights of children.
Results:
- 219 posters received
- the poster of the Slovenian team “Mirovnice” was ranked 3rd at the EU level in the 10-14 year category.
