Children and teenagers aged 10 to 14 and 15 to 18 were invited to create posters that illustrated the idea of non-discrimination throughout the European Union. Securing childrens’ rights and enabling children to become more aware of these rights, in particular the right to the protection enjoyed by all children and all teenagers who reside in the European Union, are common goals of the European Union and member states. To have a chance to say ‘I HAVE THE RIGHT TO PROTECTION!’ and actually be heard is of upmost importance in promoting fundamental European rights among youths. Zavod PIP coordinated the competition in the Republic of Slovenia with the support and cooperation of the European Commission representatives in Slovenia.
