Rižarna Concentration Camp – a historical reminder for a tolerant Europe
European values and historical circumstances which gave birth to the EU were presented to youths. We highlighted ethnic killings in concentration camps, focusing on the Rižarna Concentration Camp, which was established near Trieste on occupied Slovenian territory. Almost 5,000 people were killed at the Rižarna concentration camp (mostly Slovenes, Croats, Italians and several members of the Trieste Jewish community).

Results:

  • a 3D reconstruction of the camp;
  • a 3D Virtual Museum was created on the Second Life platform
  • 360° photos;
  • a website was created,
  • a FB page was created;
